Terms of Service

1. The service

Watzop is a SaaS workspace for companies that send and receive WhatsApp messages through the official WhatsApp Business Cloud API. Features include company accounts, Meta Embedded Signup to connect a number, contacts, inbox, template sync and send, and an owner portal.

Watzop is not affiliated with Meta except as a Tech Provider using Meta’s APIs. “WhatsApp” and related marks belong to Meta.

2. Accounts

You must provide a company name, a valid email, and a password. You are responsible for activity under your username. Company admins may add teammates. Keep credentials confidential and notify us of unauthorized use.

You must be able to enter a business contract. Do not use Watzop if you are under 16.

3. WhatsApp and Meta

Connecting a number uses Facebook Login for Business and Embedded Signup. You (or your Meta Business admin) grant Watzop access to your WhatsApp Business Account so we can manage templates, send and receive messages, and register the phone number with Cloud API.

You must comply with Meta’s WhatsApp Business Policy, Cloud API terms, and Commerce Policy. That includes sending only to customers who opted in, using approved templates outside the customer-care window, and not using WhatsApp for prohibited content.

Meta may review display names, limit quality rating, or block sending. Watzop cannot override those Meta decisions. Disconnecting in Watzop removes the number from our workspace only; deleting a number in Meta must be done in WhatsApp Manager.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not spam, scrape, or send unsolicited WhatsApp messages
• Do not attempt to access other companies’ workspaces
• Do not reverse engineer, overload, or disrupt the service
• Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content

We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or Meta policy.

5. Your content

You retain rights to your company data, contacts, and messages. You grant us a limited licence to host and process that data solely to provide Watzop. You confirm you have permission to message the WhatsApp numbers you store.

6. Availability

The service depends on Meta’s Cloud API, hosting, and the internet. We do not guarantee uninterrupted sending or receiving. Features such as campaigns may be incomplete.

7. Fees

Watzop may offer paid plans later. Meta also charges for WhatsApp conversations according to its own rate cards. Those Meta charges are billed by Meta to the WhatsApp Business Account owner, not by Watzop, unless we say otherwise in writing.

8. Disclaimer and liability

Watzop is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent allowed by law we disclaim implied warranties. We are not liable for Meta outages, blocked numbers, template rejections, or lost profits. Our total liability for a claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us for Watzop in the 3 months before the claim, or USD 50 if you paid nothing.

9. Termination

You may stop using Watzop and request deletion at any time. We may terminate access for breach, legal risk, or if Meta revokes our app. After termination we handle data as described in the Privacy Policy and Data deletion instructions.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Ernakulam, Kerala, have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief anywhere.
