User data deletion

1. Delete from inside Watzop

1. Log in at https://app.watzop.com/login
2. To unlink WhatsApp only: open WhatsApp in the sidebar and click Disconnect number. Chat history stays in Watzop until you delete the account. This does not delete the number in Meta.
3. To delete your user or company data: open Settings and use account deletion if shown, or email us from the same address on the account.

2. Email us to delete everything

Send a message to hello@ametzo.com from the email on your Watzop account.

Subject line: Watzop data deletion request

Include: company name, Watzop username or email, and whether you also want the WhatsApp connection removed from our servers.

We will confirm within 7 days and complete deletion from production systems within 30 days, unless we must keep a record for law or dispute resolution.

3. What we delete

• Your Watzop user record (name, username, email, hashed password)
• Company workspace, teammates you asked us to remove, contacts, and stored messages including media IDs
• WhatsApp connection data we stored: WABA ID, phone number ID, tokens, display name, and template cache

We revoke stored Cloud API tokens so Watzop can no longer send as that number.

4. What we cannot delete in Meta

Meta does not let Watzop delete a WhatsApp Business phone number through the API. After we disconnect you, remove or trash the number yourself in WhatsApp Manager if you want it gone from Meta:

WhatsApp Manager → Phone numbers

You can also remove Watzop from your Facebook / Meta Business settings: Facebook → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites) → remove WatZop. That stops Facebook Login for Business from granting us new access.
